Understanding your body changes everything.

I help you make sense of your body so you can support it with clarity, consistency, and confidence.

Hello, I’m Natalie!

I am a Registered Dietitian and functional nutrition practitioner, and I have spent the past 15 years working closely with individuals to understand what actually supports the human body in real life.

My work is shaped by clinical experience, and just as much by my own process of rebuilding my health and learning how to live in a way that supports it.

I am known for simplifying complex information, asking the right questions, and helping people step out of confusion and into a clearer, more grounded understanding of their health.

The focus of my work is reducing overwhelm and helping you understand what actually matters, and how to apply it consistently and sustainably.

For over 25 years, I lived with chronic asthma and was told it was something I would manage for the rest of my life.

Medication helped control symptoms, but it never addressed why my body was struggling in the first place. Everything began to shift when I started supporting my body differently through food, environment, movement, and nervous system regulation.

It was not perfect, and it did not happen all at once. But over time, my symptoms, my capacity, and the way my body responded changed.

It has now been over a decade since I needed medication. Learning how to support my body in a consistent and practical way reshaped my understanding of health and the role daily inputs play in its functioning.

Health emerges when the body has what it needs and when burdens are removed.

Instead of chasing symptoms or cycling through short-term solutions, I focus on restoring the conditions that allow the body to function well.

That includes supporting:

• digestion and nutrient absorption
• blood sugar stability and metabolic function
• nervous system regulation
• hydration and mineral balance
• the body’s ability to repair and respond to stress

I pay close attention to the order in which this work is done, because the body responds differently when foundational systems are supported first. When the conditions are in place, the body becomes more stable, more responsive, and better able to maintain progress over time.

For much of my career, I worked primarily with women navigating autoimmunity and chronic symptoms.

That work remains part of what I do, and my focus has expanded.

Becoming a mother deepened my understanding of how health before and during pregnancy shapes the long-term well-being of a child (and mother). Today, a large part of my work supports women and men in preparing their bodies for conception, navigating pregnancy, and replenishing in the postpartum period.

At the same time, I continue to work with individuals who are looking to better understand their symptoms, restore foundational health, and build a body that feels steady, capable, and well-supported.

Revived Roots is the container for this work.

It brings together functional nutrition, traditional wisdom, and a physiology-first lens to help people rebuild their health in a way that fits real life. It also draws on my background in yoga and philosophy, integrating breath, movement, and awareness into how we support the body as a whole.

The focus is on clarity, simplicity, and consistency.

The goal is to help you understand your body well enough to make informed decisions and support it in ways that are both effective and sustainable.

Through coaching, lab testing, and educational resources, the work is designed to meet you where you are and build from there.

Outside of my work, I am a mother to a spirited toddler, and I spend as much time as possible outside climbing, paddling, moving, and staying connected to the natural world.

I also tend a garden and co-own a pottery studio, where I spend a lot of time working with my hands. These parts of my life keep me grounded in rhythm, creativity, and the physicality of the world around me.

That connection continues to shape how I view health and how I guide others. It reflects a way of living rooted in awareness and a relationship with the environment.
